Schools: Dunboyne retain title with ease

The Meath Cumann na mBunscol Girls football finals took place in Pairc Tailteann. There were seven titles up for grabs.
Dunboyne gave an exhibition of football as they defeated St. Olivers Navan to retain the Division 1 title in the last game of the day at Pairc Tailteann.

The winners were never in trouble and had the game won before half time. Lucy Eglington gave the Dunboyne girls a perfect start with a goal. Vanessa Hola, Rachel Norman, and Ciara MCCoy also got in on the gaol scoring act as Dunboyne went in at the break 4-5 to 0-0 in front.
St Olivers faired better in the second half but could not find the target. Goals from Hola, Holly Conlon, Niamh Sherlock, Ruby McFeat and Ellen O'Beirne put the finishing touches to a brilliant display from the holders.
