The Meath Cumann na mBunscol Girls football finals took place in Pairc Tailteann. There were seven titles up for grabs.

It was a great week for Scoil Colmcille Skryne. The Boys won the Division 3 football title on Saturday and five days later the Girls completed a memorable double when accounting for Baconstown in the Division 2 final.

From the first whistle the Skryne girls were in control. Naimh Cahill gave her team the perfect start with a goal. Fine scores from Roisin McManus, Ava Purcell, Megan Clarke, Smyth and Molly Fitzpatrick opened up a 10 point gap before Niamh Cahill closed out the half with Skryne's second goal.

The game was over as a contest in the opening five minutes of the second half when Purcell and Cahill got in for Skryne's third and fourth goals. Baconstown kept battling and Alex Kelly opened their account midway through the half. Brooke Flynn closed out the scoring for Baconsown as Scoil Colmcille began to celebrate a memorable week for the school.

After the game Mary Devine, Treasurer, Meath Cumann na mBunscol presented the Girls Division Division 3 Cup to Scoil Cholmcille Joint Captains Megan Clarke and Ciara Smyth.
