MHC B: Royals clip Lilies in Trim

Meath advanced to the semi final of the All Ireland Minor B hurling championship with a one point win over Kildare at Lomans Park Trim.

Meath 0-14
Kildare 2-7

The home county dominated the opening half. Charlie Bird led the way with four points as Meath went in at the break 0-9 to 0-4 ahead.

Kildare came more into the game in the second half. Goals from Niall Kenny and Tadgh Forde narrowed the gap to a point 2-5 to 0-12 after 20 minutes. Meath aided by a great defensive display and two inspirational scores from Ross and Ronan Ryan held on to win by the minimum.
