The clubs gave their full approval to the finance plan for the development of a County Center of Excellence for the training and development of county teams at Monday night's (26th May) County committee meeting. The matter had been debated before and a number of options regarding the financing of the project had been put to the clubs. Consequently clubs were then asked to discuss the matter and seek a mandate from their members as to which option they preferred and on Monday night they gave the thumbs up to a monthly levy of E300 per club over the next five years. The purchase of the property at Annyalla has been completed, the clubs approved of that two years ago and it is expected that work will commence before the end of this year. Ultimately there will be three training pitches with all ancillary works and a County Board headquarters on the site. Tweet
