Tipperary's Paul Kelly
Tipperary veteran Paul Kelly has been dropped from Declan Ryan's panel ahead of the final game of the Allianz National League this weekend.

Kelly was restored to the Tipp panel following the conclusion of the Sigerson Cup in February and started the subsequent Division 1 games against Waterford and Offaly.

However, he was replaced at half-time against the Faithful County a month ago, was left out of the games against Cork and Galway and has since been informed that he will play no part for the remainder of the year.

The 32-year-old Mullinahone man, who is the older brother of All-Ireland winning captain Eoin, made his Tipp senior debut as a teenager in 1998 and was part of the All-Ireland winning side of 2001, when he was a teammate of current boss Declan Ryan.

Kelly also won All Star awards in 2002 and 2005, at wing back and midfield respectively, before making a home in the full forward line in recent years.

Tipp face Wexford at Semple Stadium on Sunday afternoon aiming for a win that puts them in contention for a place in the League final on the first day of May.
