I'm just wondering does the premium level b open for the Dublin v Kildare game saturday night. The reason I'm asking is that I bring my son and daughter to all the games and was thinking I'd treat them if I cud premium tickets. So does anyone know where I can get them? up4sam (Kildare) - Posts: 3 - 06/03/2014 21:25:38 1555956 Link 0 |

Premium tickets don't be for sale to public because it's companies who own the seats unfortunately. From my experience there is nothing really special about premium section better atmosphere in ordinary seats. butters1990 (Kildare) - Posts: 262 - 07/03/2014 12:34:36 1556133 Link 0 |
You can Premium tickets from the Croke Park Príomh website http://www.crokepark.ie/Priomh MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13797 - 07/03/2014 12:40:04 1556139 Link 0 |
Premium level and boxes open alright, seats are usually owned by companies so don't go on sale. Usually empty for leagues games so if you know anyone in these companies usually no problem to get them bad.monkey (USA) - Posts: 4649 - 07/03/2014 12:45:07 1556147 Link 0 |
It will be open but unless you know someone who might lend you a few you can't get them. Kids probably enjoy the athmosphere in the ordinary stand better and you can get them hot dogs and stuff. Premium is a bit dead as someone else said. You can have a dinner in the big draughty place but nothing to write home about! hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 07/03/2014 12:45:07 1556148 Link 0 |
I agree with what the lads say. I gave away three box tickets last year for the hurling semi to go to the stand. Prefer the atmosphere outside i have to say. Hoover78 (Limerick) - Posts: 865 - 07/03/2014 12:59:15 1556158 Link 0 |
A good, central stand seat is better than any premium one. The area is generally occupied by people only half interested in the games. God help you if you're at either end of a row as the posers arrive up to ten minutes late and go out to order drink ten minutes before half time and full time. jerryp (Cork) - Posts: 104 - 07/03/2014 19:59:55 1556374 Link 0 |

You're probably better off waiting until a Sunday match up4sam. You can treat the kids to a good Sunday Roast and decent seats at the same time. It'd be more enjoyable for the kids, better atmosphere. wile_man_sir (Donegal) - Posts: 150 - 07/03/2014 21:49:28 1556416 Link 0 |

Premium Level is different to the Corporate Level. Greengrass (Louth) - Posts: 6180 - 08/03/2014 17:22:40 1556614 Link 0 |

It is a great experience if you can afford it. I was in the Premium Levl for the 2003 All Ireland semi final between Armagh and Donegal and enjoyed it immensely (Donegal threw that game away). The lift straight up to Premium Level and a long bar with no queues for a beer was great craic. It was during the good (dodgy) times though; I seem to recall squads of big red faced Donegal farmers pulling big wads of dough out all over the place.
