Where's everyone meeting in Limerick for the match? Would be a good idea for all Meath supporters to meet in the same pub before hand Anyone familiar with Limerick got any suggestions? RobK (Meath) - Posts: 479 - 12/07/2008 23:39:18 47392 Link 0 |
Might be goin down but not to sure cos my sister had a baby and the christening is sunday morning. How far down is it do yas know?Any ideas on the team?????? ColinG (Meath) - Posts: 6 - 13/07/2008 15:46:03 47460 Link 0 |
it's about a 2 and a half hour drive. Plenty of quality accomodation available for under 50 euro. There's a few of us staying in the Kilmurry Lodge Hotle. Not too far from the City Centre or the Gaelic Grounds. Should be a good game. If we sort our defensive frailties out we should win comfortably. Unfortunately Moyles and Reilly are out so I think it will be a lot closer than the Bookies would have you believe. RobK (Meath) - Posts: 479 - 13/07/2008 16:52:53 47474 Link 0 |
Group of over 10 of us staying in the Greenhills hotel beside the grounds, any decent watering holes near there? Would be good to get a bit of banter going before the game! La_Playa (Meath) - Posts: 34 - 13/07/2008 19:26:53 47501 Link 0 |
I'm told Nancy Blakes is the place to be on a sat nyt so we'll be starting off there anyway!!! Big Dave (Meath) - Posts: 172 - 14/07/2008 12:47:33 47844 Link 0 |
Nancy Blakes sounds like a plan. would be good if we can get a big crowd meeting before the game. Build an atmosphere to take into the game. RobK (Meath) - Posts: 479 - 14/07/2008 15:33:39 48078 Link 0 |

Any meath supports that think that they are going to get a handy win in limerick are very wrong. Cork we very very very lucky to get over limerick and look what cork did to kerry. Warning enough dont u think. Come on the farney army. gazza123 (Monaghan) - Posts: 6 - 16/07/2008 14:44:14 49654 Link 0 |

I hope there's a big crowd down in Limerick. Get behind the lads and get the atmosphere back at Meath matches. TheFlyingTeacup (Meath) - Posts: 285 - 16/07/2008 17:17:23 49842 Link 0 |

Flying over from Birmingham to Shannon for the game. Really looking forward to it. Always try to get to as many Meath games as possible. Disappointing to read a few posts here with people who cant be bothered with travelling to support their county. I think some even alluded that the hard-core Meath fans would be listening on LMFM. What dedication, eh! LoyalRoyal (None) - Posts: 465 - 17/07/2008 11:04:35 50220 Link 0 |
For those of you travelling to Limerick Saturday night, the Woodfield House is a good spot before the game - straight across from the Gaelic Grounds. There isn't any other pubs around the Ennis Road grounds. TrueSport (Limerick) - Posts: 33 - 17/07/2008 11:18:51 50234 Link 0 |
Stay away from Clohesseys all ruggers you wont even meet a fella in there who knows the game is on. Limericksville (Limerick) - Posts: 15 - 17/07/2008 17:25:16 50659 Link 0 |
