You;ll get the ubvious ones here like O'Sé, Whelan, McGarrity etc. Have to say that Flanagan from Westmeath is class as well. Fergal Doherty too. Although I'm hoping he'll be kept quiet against us in a few weeks!

In the last few years it has to be O Se or Murphy. In fairness apart from these two,its hard to see many midfielders that have shined. Maybe Whelan but his temper lets him down. Hoping there will be another great to add to the list next year. Martin Flanagan is a top class player and if Westmeath do well this year he could prove to everyone that he is capable of been named with O Se and the likes. After loosing out in 2004,this could be his year. Here's hoping!

Cavanagh and O'se and Murphy....Flanagan has a good chance to do well this year.he is exceptionally gifted, possibly better technique than the other players mentioned but had a few well none problems previously.

I doubt if Thomas Walsh would get his place on the Carlow team.

Flanagan missed out on the only leinster westmeath won because him and paidi didnt see eye to eye, he hasnt really played much for westmeath since that, but after tyrellspass's good run in leinster last year he has come back. He is ten times a more gifted footballer than dessie dolan, and unfortunatly for westmeath he is at the wrong end of his career!!
