Pitch Locations and Directions London

(Oldest Posts First)

With the CCC actually playing games around the county, i think they should have some directions on the main GAA site, knowing that may not happen, can i start us off with the best pitch in London and please feel free to add your own grounds, jubilee park, goodmayes, donkey lane, etc

As with the above can some please give the exact address of Thomas McCurtains ground in Goodmayes. From their website it appears to be in Valentines Park rather than Goodmayes Park.

Is this correct?

An address with a postcode as explained by the Cat for Poulter PArk will be perfect as we could put that into a Sat-Nav.

Why have the fixtures commitee fixed the Brendans v Tcg game for Donkey lane, these are the best two teams in London over the last 3/4 years, these games should be played in Ruislip. How many will go to watch the game in Enfield, be very surprised if there is 20 watching, i for one won't be there.

The pitch in Mill Hill belongs to St. Kiernans. It is based at Mill Hill Rugby club.

The Kiernans also have the pitch down at Collindale.

Got to hand it to them....they have managed to sort two pitches when many clubs cant even sort one

where you getting this from leon?

thats some trek for the brendans alright.

can't be as loony as having mccurtains out in heathrow on a school night though. It would be impossible for anyone working in the city/town to go back out to north east london and get back over to hayes for 7.30.

This was an old fixture, look at the date it was put on here, mid April.

But still the Co. Board make silly fixtures, on thursday night at 7.30, NLS (Enfield) are due to play KKG (Barnet) out in Ruslip when both teams have the own pitch in North London. why bring 2 teams all the way round to West Lonodn during the week when they have their own pitch??
