I see from the death notices that Dinny Donnelly has died. When I first started taking notice of Meath teams Dinny was the captain. Met him a few times and he was a gentleman. He served Meath, Skryne and Kilmessan well. Missed out on an All Ireland medal as he had retired after the 1966 final. Also missed the history-making trip to Australia.
