Boc - I know Andy Gorham - of 'there's only two Andy Gorhams' fame - played soccer and cricket for Scotland - stuck on who played for England and Scotland though.

essexile - do you mean contains all five vowels? I think (from a linguistic point of view), that sort of name is impossible?

The team whose name begins with five consonants is CRYSTal Palace.

Jayo - it could be a mixture of two questions - I think there is only one league club whose name includes all five vowels.

Hartlepool United and Rotherham United fit the bill for that one. 3 other clubs did but have gone out of the league relatively recently - Maidstone United, Rushden & Diamonds and Torquay United.

You're all wrong about Pennant, he never played enough games in a season for Arsenal to earn a title medal so you can't include him as having won the Premiership!

Boc - reckon thats the old urban legend one about Socrates (the Brazilian footballer not the philosopher!) who apparently studied medicine at UCD etc etc. It is about as true as Xabi Alonso though!!

MMM, is the answer to the derby question Christain Ziege.
Didn't know Frank Lampard had scored over 100 goals, though it was only Matt LeTissier. Sorry.

So goes the myth, it's just an urban legend at this stage.
