Corrigan early front runner for Fermanagh post

St Michael's, Enniskillen manager Dominic Corrigan

Dominic Corrigan has emerged as the early favourite to succeed Pete McGrath as Fermanagh's next senior football boss.

The Irish News reports today that Corrigan, who previously managed the Erne County between 2001 and 2003, has been tipped to take over the reins, with other names such as Derrygonnelly Harps manager Martin Greene, Kieran Donnelly, Nigel Seaney, Oisin McConville and Rory Gallagher, who recently stepped down from Donegal, also being mentioned.

The post became vacant last month following McGrath's decision to resign after four years in charge and the county's clubs have been given until August 21st to submit names to the county executive, as they set-up a management appointment committee.

Corrigan, father of Fermanagh senior players Tomás and Ruairí, is currently managing Tyrone champions Killyclogher.
