This coming Saturday 26th of May, 2012 Fermanagh senior hurlers host western neighbours Leitrim in the semi-final of the Lory Meagher Cup, at At Parc Na Oige, Maguiresbridge, with a 4.00 pm throw in. Through they Ernesider's have had very successfully season so far, with them capturing the Division 3B tittle over Warwickshire in the National Hurling League Final of 2012. More recently Fermanagh had a moral boosting home win over Longford, in a prelimarly round of the Lory Meagher Cup with a telling score of 2 goals 15 points to 1 goal 8 points for mid-lander. Despite Fermanagh being declared favourites they some niggling injury problems to several of their key players, such as corner forward Andrew Breslin and defender Daniel Teague. On the positive side Fermanagh mid-fielder Barry Smyth is almost fully recovered from an ankle injury he encored some weeks earlier. With this renew confidence they Fermanagh side should advance to the final of the Lory Meagher Cup-2012 in Croke Park.
