GAA news from the Clontarf, O'Dwyers, Na Fianna, Castleknock, Scoil Uí Chonaill, Wanderers, Ballinteer Saint Johns, Lucan Sarsfields, St Brigids and Na Fianna clubs.
Clontarf
Junior Hurlers defeated Raheny (2-14,3-9) in a challenge game and play Naomh Barrog on Thursday. Tickets for the Dublin game must be collected in the clubhouse on Fri. 9-10pm. Junior A's defeated Craobh Ciaran but lost to St. Vincents in the Inner City Tournament, thanks to St. Josephs OCB for a fine event. Summer Camps for Boys and Girls 5-13 years commence this week. Please support Chris McGinn in his sponsored 150km cycle in aid of the Downes Syndrome Dublin Branch, cards available in the clubhouse. O'Dwyers
Next set dancing session and music with Liam Carter on Sunday 12th August in our clubhouse with dancing from 9pm. Everyone welcome.

Na Fianna
Commiserations to Jonny Cooper, Wayne Brogan & Daire O Maoileidigh who lost out by three points to Cork in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Semi-final on Saturday. Senior footballers have drawn St. Vincents in the 4th round of the championship - date to be confirmed. Tickets for Dublin v Derry will be distributed this Friday between 8.30 and 10pm. Sunday Carvery continues throughout the summer between 12.30 and 5.30 - smart card member discount applies. Food will also be available after the Dublin-Derry game on Saturday. Application forms for the VHI Cul Camps (August 13th -24th) are available from the club office on 8370210.
Congratulations to All Ireland champions Aoife Caffrey, Lucy Collins, Laura Keelan and Khloe Dillon-Coote and the Dublin U14 footballers after a spectacular win on Sunday against favourites Galway. An epic battle right to the end but Dublin came out champions with a 2 point margin after coming from behind for most of the match. A great turnout afterwards in Na Fianna and thanks to everyone in the club who helped prepare everything to make it a night to remember for the young Dubs.
Na Fianna has been given the opportunity to sell match programmes in Croke Park - could be substantial fund-raiser. Looking for 10 - 14 volunteers (must be over 15yrs) to sell next Saturday and Sunday. 20% of funds raised will go towards whichever team or group you are involved with. Castleknock
The second hurling Summer Camp will begin next week, Monday 13 August, as will the advanced football camp.
Tickets for the Dublin SFC game will be distributed on Thursday night at 10.30pm in The Lodge.
Congrats to Castleknock U14 Girls Nicole Murphy & Jessica Comerford who are on the Dublin u14 panel who won the All-Ireland on Sunday. Congrats also to Deborah Geragthy who played for the Dubs senior team at the weekend.
Scoil Uí Chonaill
Congratulations to the Dublin under 14 All Ireland champions on their pulsating last minute win over Galway. Scoil played a major role in the victory with five members on the panel namely, Siobhan Killeen, Ellen Keatley, Sarah Powell, Hannah Spain and Emer Cassidy. The team manager is another club member, Brian Powell. Well done to him and in particular to Siobhan Kileen who blasted home three goals for the Dubs. Don't forget Scoil Uí Chonaill golf society is having their next outing in Trim on August the 17th and all members are welcome to play. Training continues on Thursday nights for minors and under 16's, hurling at 7p.m. football at 8p.m. Under 14 hurling training every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30 p.m. Adults have training on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. Finally please remember that Saturday morning juvenile and nursery section will re-open on the 18th August at 10a.m.
Wanderers
Wanderers 7-a-side: The Wanderers 7-a-side competition will take place on Saturday 15th September. The teams will consist of 7 players and 1 substitute. Teams will be made up of 6 men and 2 women. To take part in the day please contact

[email protected]. The entry fee will be €10; participants must be 16 or older. Lotto: No winner of this weeks’ Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 4, 10 and 17. €25 goes to Helen Aiken, Niall Heavey, Graham Sean Lauren and Rachel Heavey and Maurice Goodman. Next weeks’ jackpot will be €1,700. Ballinteer Saint Johns
Lotto Result for 2nd August. Numbers drawn were 8, 17, 20 and 24. There was no winner. Next week's Jackpot will be €1600. Special Congratulations to Dermot McMahon and his fellow Mentor's on Dublin's Under 14 Ladies All Ireland Final win over Galway on Sunday. Congrats also to Ballinteer Saint John's Rachel Fitzsimons and Niamh Sweeney who played and Laura McMahon and Jessica McEvoy who were on the panel. Well done to our Senior Camogie Team on their recent results and on finishing runners up in the Senior B League. Golf Society Final Outing 27th October to Druids Glen. Golf, Meal and Transport €100. Many thanks to Dublin SF Bernard Brogan who turned up to meet the Summer Camp kids on Friday. Our Summer Camps now break for a week and resume with hurling and camogie on August 13th. Still places available - Kathleen (6249036), Alice (6241331) or Josephine (6241039) will help you. Best of luck to Paul Casey and Stephen O'Shaughnessy on Saturday with Dublin Senior Footballers. Hard luck to Peter Kelly and the Dublin Minor hurlers on Saturday in the All Ireland semi-final. Tickets for the All-Ireland SF quarter-final will be distributed on Thursday night. If you ordered, you MUST pickup and pay. The Club Shop is closed for a summer break and will re-open on Wednesday 15th August. The annual Golf Classic will now take place on Tuesday August 21st. Get well soon to young Dylan Lacey who dislocated his shoulder. Condolences to the O'Mahony family on the recent passing of John's brother. No Lotto numbers to hand as it was a Bank Holiday Draw.
