Congratulations to the children of St Patrick's PS who secured four County Schools' Handball titles
Congratulations to young Rían Branagan who created history on Sunday 2nd February 2014 by becoming the first Clonduff person to play in an Ulster Hurling Final - Antrim v Down. Unfortunately Down lost the much delayed Ulster Final but Rían played extremely at corner back!
Well done Down on such a magnificent second half to salvage a draw v Ulster Champions Monaghan in Pairc Esler on Sunday afternoon. Clonduff's Aidan Carr and Darren O'Hagan had outstanding games! Keep it going for Armagh next Friday night!
Congratulations to Ryan McShane and his Down Ladies who secured a win in their league game in Div 2 with a one point win over Meath at Abbey CBS.

Congratulations to everybody - the new Handball Wall is beginning to pay dividends with Des' Thursday afternoon coaching sessions as well as the hard work in the Handball Alley.
Young Ellen Shields (P5) was the only St Pat's girl to compete in the Schools Co Handball Championships. She reached the Semi Final of U 11 Singles which she lost on an aggregate of 2 points. This was no mean feat as she was playing much older girls and will be eligible for this age group again for the next two years.
Two girls were also entered for the Doubles but as they were awaiting Transfer Test results were unable to attend.
The Down Champions will compete in Ulster Schools competition in Donegal in two weeks time! Great achievement!
CLONDUFF BOYS PROGRESS IN ULSTER HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Many congratulations to Lyndon Brown (U15) and Patrick Cowan who both won their games (2-0 each) in Gortnamona v their counterparts from Antrim.
Lyndon and Patrick did Down and Clonduff proud in their respective games with quality service, and domination of most of the rallies. That said the Antrim champions were no push over and the Clonduff boys had to be at their best to over come their challengers. Their next game is in the same venue in two weeks time.
Well done lads!
