Juvenile Notes:

U8's -The Go Games took place in Donard on Sat 2 May but unfortunately the weather was poor and we only got to play two games. Despite the bad weather we had 19 kids taking part and our two teams performed very well. Many thanks to our hosts Donard/Glen for putting on such a good array of food etc. Our NKL match scheduled for Sat afternoon against Naas was cancelled and will be played mid week in a few weeks time. The U8/10 Go Games which we are due to host on Sat 16 May will have to be rescheduled as it clashes with the charity cycle race who will be using our grounds for parking and it's also the communion date in some local schools. The new date is likely to be on Sat 23 May. Final details will be in next week's notes.

U9s - NKL at home on Sat 9 to Leixlip at 3.30pm.

U11's - NKL at home on Sat 9 to Cappagh at 4.30pm.

U10 - U10 Lakeside Community Games team competed in Dunlavin last weekend. There were 4 players from each of the clubs, Blessington, Lacken/Kilbride, Valleymount and Hollywood. Blessington was represented by Adam Smith, Finn Behan, Sean Ellis and Oscar Higgins. After a great win against Roundwood, we went down by just one score against Westside (Dunlavin, Donard/Glen). Great credit to all concerned and a super battling performance to the end. Really entertaining and big well done to the lads.

U10 North Kildare League game cancelled this weekend owing to biblical meteorological conditions but despite this the Go Games in Donard went ahead. We had two U10 teams in Donard and a total of 24 players. Once again the kids did the club proud in their two matches and special mention to Tristan Will Whelan and Tomás Walsh for outstanding contributions to the cause. Onwards and upwards.
