Our Junior A team had a great win over Bray in Div 3 league, finishing 2-14 to 0-5.Scorers were Trvor O Donnell 1-3, Eddie Boylan 0-5,Robert Pender 1-0, Stephen Willoughby & Thomas Fisher 0-2 each,Eoin Howlin & Alan Kelly 0-1 each.Junior A play Knockanna next Sat 4th in Blesso at 5.30pm. Our Junior C match was changed to Monday v Donard this is away at 8pm. Our Senior team played Carnew at home on Sunday and won well 1-15 to 0-2 with champ only two weeks away it was great to see the County lads back for the match.Scorers were Alan Ellis 0-6,Dean Siney 0-5,Curtis Geraghty 1-1,David Behan,Anthony McLoughlin & Brendan McGarr 0-1 each.Best wishes to Eoin Howlin who sustained an eye injury during this match.We have been given our Senior Champ date of Sunday 12th June at 2.45pm V Bray in Aughrim, supporters put this date in your diary.Hard luck to Wicklow Juniors beaten by Dublin,but well done to Paul Mcloughlin, Anthony McLoughlin and Dean Siney who all got the start,Anthony was captain while Dean got 1-4.We congratulate all our members who have just had their Leaving Cert Graduation and we wish them the very best in their final preparations for exams.Birthday wishes to Dean McGarr who celebrated 18th Birthday,Eoin Howlin who celebrated his 19th Birthday and Jonathan Kelly who celebrated his 16th Birthday.Well done to our U16 Girls who had a great win over St Nicholas in a challenge 7-11 to 2-4 players that did very well were Emma Finnegan Reid, Ellen Quinn,Niamh Allen,Shona O Connor & Triona Hennessy.Our U12 Girls will play Baltinglass at home on Thurs 2nd at 7.15pm.Our Juvenile section have a busy weekend ahead so please support the two Feile fundraisers, Bag Pack Fri 3rd and Sat 4th in Dunnes Stores, Fri 3rd June Neil Diamond experience in The Avon Ri Tickets €10,and a great raffle on the night.On Friday next the U14 Development Squad will play Dublin in Blessington at 7.30pm.Our Club Lotto takes place on Tues 31st in The West Jackpot is €1600 nice to win with the holidays coming.We are delighted to welcome the Wicklow Hurlers to our grounds on Tuesday 31st at 7pm. We wish Casey,his management team and players the very best in The Christy Ring Final on Sat next 4th June against Kerry.Well done to Emma Nolan Daughter of our club president Pete, Emma has just qualified as a Doctor and we wish her the best for the future. The Club send deepest sympathy to the Eustace Family on the passing of Shay and the Healy Family Kilbride on the passing of Mick.
