The Downs GAA and Ladies Football Clubs present a night of Strictly Come Dancing in The Mullingar Park Hotel this Saturday November 14that 7pm. The main sponsor for this event is Nolan Kitchens who are located in Mullingar Business Park. 16 couples will perform one dance each ranging from the Samba, Rumba, Conga, Footloose, Salsa, Charleston, American Smooth and more. This will bea culmination of the hard working committee and the extremely dedicated dancers who have spend many hours in the hall over the past two months. Indeed the commitment of the dancers in giving up their free time is phenomenal, many who have no direct connection with the club and a number travelling distances to practice.For your efforts  the club are eternally grateful. The practices have been enjoyable with plenty of laughs and only a hint of competiveness sneaking in over the last week.  The chat is all about steps, turns, music and of course the lifts or maybe the falls. The brochure on the night will demonstrate the generosity of businesses and individuals towards the club in their sponsorship of dancers, dances and advertisements without whom  it would not have been possible to run the event. We invite everyone to come along and enjoy this impressive show choreographed by the talented and patient Niamh Donohoe. Indeed this may be the your only opportunity to see some of these talented dancers on stage.
