TIPPERARY CONNECTION IN JUNIOR CLUB FINAL In Semple Stadium on Monday next at 3:30pm, Kildangan will play Carrickshock of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling final. While of course we wish them well, there will also be a Tipperary interest in the curtain raiser. At 1:45pm, the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling final will see Galmoy (Kilkenny) take on Oran (Roscommon). Brian and Kevin Lonergan will lineout at fullback and full forward respectively for Galmoy. Brian (also Galmoy club chairman) and Kevin are the sons of former Moycarkey-Borris and Tipperary hurler Mick Lonergan who won an All-Ireland Senior Hurling medal with Tipperary in 1964.
