Who?

This another Peter Newman story? Where ya go making up total crap and claiming a player or insider told you!

Clowns like you are constantly destroy every good thread on this site and killing as a place for people to have an actual discussion.

Good to see Rowe called in.. Good player..Nice to see fresh players been brought in. My 3 would be

1- Brain Dillon (O Mahoneys)
2- Wing back to Senchestown Dont know his name
3 - David Morgan Ashbourne (still think he is worth another try)

Is any of the na Fianna lads going to get a call up?

PATSMAN09 - You reccomend Paul Collier from st colmcilles.. Is he not retired or nearly?

The only lads that are a good bit off county standard but have potential from st colmcilles from what I have seen are there number 6 Mark Magill and Eoin Woods. But maybe Im wrong and am thinking of a different paul collier

Not sure about Brian Dillon. The best O'Mahonys player against the Longford champions was Paddy Smith.

I think Morgan might make a great wing back having played the earlier part of ashbournes championship at centre half... He's very fast and strong! Also extremely hard to get around

Morgan gave a decent account of himself the league he played under O'Brien. Its picking a spot for him is the hardest, he's a victim of his own versatility. Don't forget Paddy Carr didn't think him good enough for the minor PANEL and a few Months later he starred on O'Rourke's U21 team at fullforward. Pound for pound one of the best fielders in the county, physically very strong and more two footed than Joe Sheridan, Cian Ward, Alan Forde and Paddy Gilsenan. That's not to say that he's a better footballer than these lads but if Coyle or O'Brien were given a chance to develop their plans/ideas for more than 2 years we wouldn't be having this discussion because we'd know for sure whether he's up to it by now as he was part of their plans. One thing for certain though I'd have him warming a seat on the bench sooner than any of his clubmates barring Menton.

Don't you think it is slightly naive to base your assessment of meath football on an anonymous online forum??

in a response to your petyness... kelvin brady played minor and junior for meath and then emigrated when he was 20.. he is now back for good and is raring to play. he would be worth a try is all im saying just like alot of lads and he is a towering presence in midfeild. everybody has their opinions and just because you dont agree with them dosent mean they are right and thats the beauty of this site

My point is not about me disagreeing with you, its about you making up complete lies and posting them here as fact.
Like when you claimed to have spoken to a players father and he told you a completley different story from the truth. You claimed it was fact and you worked with the man thats how you knew, even tho this was a complete lie as the man in question is a farmer and not working in the same place as you at all. You didnt even know his name when pressed.

Then on the above point, you claim that this player from Oldcastle should be on the Meath seniors. The only problem I have is that no such player exists that meets your description. Why keep ruining threads and wasting other peoples time. Find us a Match report from an Oldcastle game where this towering county star has been involved, otherwise grow up and quit ruining this forum.

Ha ha, your priceless.

Any chance you could provide a bit of proof that this player actually exists? What years did he play for Oldcastle? If he's been in America for the past while, what makes you think he deserves to be thrown straight into the county set up without showing something at club level. thats of course IF he exists, which I dont think he does.

There are players being promoted on this board who are nowhere near good club standard. Another point! anyone at the Navan v Longford Leinster club match would know that Navan have no defenders anywhere close to county standard (except Reilly who was not playing as far as I know).
