There was little between the two teams for much of the first half with only a point or two separating them. Ballybrown scored three unanswered points in the closing stages of the half to lead by six at half time. Ballybrown continued where they left off in the second half to run out convincing winners. It was good to see many of our Junior B team make the step up and play so well at this level.

Crecora scored  two goals and two points in a purple patch for them with Ballybrown adding a single point to leave Crecora leading by two points with ten minutes to go. The final ten minutes of the game saw the best hurling of the day and when Mark Burnes goaled for us to regain the lead,we held it to the end.
