Jerseys presented to Crescent Comprehensive College

On Wednesday last two Limerick GAA jerseys of past pupils were presented to Crescent Comprehensive College at its weekly assembly.

Gary Kirby (Patrickswell) 1994 & 96 & Thomas Ryan (South Liberties) this season gone, whom are both past students of Crescent Comprehensive college, presented there Munster senior Hurling winning jerseys to the school in the company of other past students whom were also Munster Senior hurling winners with Limerick namely, Sean O Neill (Murroe/Boher) & Damien Quigley (Na Piarsaigh).

Owen O Neill (Murroe/Boher) was absent due to work commitments. Principal of Crecsent Comp, Nicholus Cuddihy, echoed to the over 800 strong students the importance of participating in sport & how proud and honored the school was to recognize the achievements of these past students.

Both Munster senior & minor trophies were present in the school for the assembly presentation and Limerick GAA were represented by County Chairperson Oliver Mann, Post Primary officer Gerry Bennis, Limerick Minor Hurling manager Brian Ryan and Ger Downes Games Development Administrator for Limerick City, Cresent Comprehensive were represented by Nichlous Cuddihy Principal, Karin Flemming Deputy Principal & Diarmuid Mullins GAA co-ordinator in the school.
