Munster Football Final - Tickets Anybody requiting tickets for the Munster football final must have their orders in by text with exact details to Pat Sheahan (086 8835425) by Thurs at 5pm. Prices are as follows Covered Stand 35, Uncovered Stand 30, Terrace 20, Student Terrace 15, Juvenile 5. OAP 10 Concession on Match Day at the stile 20. There are also family tickets also available. The GAA Season Ticket is valid for the entire Championship Ronan O Murchu, the GAA Ticket Manager sent on details relating to All Season Tickets. Holders of these tickets paid a base price of 75 at the outset, which covered the League and the opening Championship fixture for the county in question. As a county progresses the Credit Card or Laser Card used to purchase the Season Ticket in the first place is charged the face value less 5 in most cases, but face value for Provincial Finals. This includes replays! The Season Ticket holder can then use the Season Ticket to attend the next fixture. Payment is taken regardless of whether the Season Ticket holder plans to attend or not. The Season Ticket is transferable and all matches are included - Provincial or Qualifier. All-Ireland Finals remain dependent upon attendance at 60% of a county's total number of matches in League & Championship. On match days, Season Ticket holders are required to enter the venue via the designated Season Stile. This is both to control usage of the Season Ticket and to record attendance. Generally, Season Ticket holders are entitled to a seat in the stand. Where there is no reserved seating, it is first come: best dressed. Where reserved seating applies, the Season Ticket holder is issued with a seat number as he or she passes through the Season Stile. The upshot of this - if you enter the venue together, you will be able to sit together. Coiste Bainstí have requested that each Season Ticket holder be permitted to purchase a "guest" ticket for fixtures where reserved seating applies to allow that Season Ticket holder to bring someone along with them. This system has been operating away for all such fixtures in the Championship to date. We inform people on a fixture by fixture basis how this will apply. Cancellation: The Season Ticket can be cancelled at any time but there is no opt-in / opt-out element. As per above, the Season Ticket is transferable so if a holder cannot attend he or she is entitled to pass on the Season Ticket. GAA 125th Anniversary - TORCH RUN To celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the GAA, Munster Council are organising a Torch Run on the eve of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final 11 July, 2009, from the Home of Michael Cusack in Carron, Co.Clare to the location of the Foundation Meeting in Hayes Hotel, Thurles. The GAA calls all clubs en route to be part of this historic occasion in Clare, Limerick and Tipperary, ending at Hayes Hotel, Thurles. We can be part of a wonderful celebration. Limerick County Board are asking each club within the county to bring at least thirty to forty 12-14 year olds dressed in their club colours, flags, banners etc., to the Gaelic Grounds on 11th July. It is envisaged that all 69 Limerick Clubs will parade longside the Torch from the Gaelic Grounds, over Sarsfield Bridge, up William Street as far as the jail. It sounds like a wonderful occasion of celebration. 12 to 14 year-olds who would like to represent St. Mary's/Sean Finn's should give their names to our Bord na nOg Secretary, Tom Keating as soon as possible. Sympathy: We extend our sympathy to the family of Joan White, RIP on their bereavement last weekend. Her son, daughters and grandchildren as well as her extended family will sadly miss Joan. May she rest in peace. Fixtures Wed 24th June: U14 Football V Deel Rangers Away @7.30pm. Thurs 25th: U10 Football V Cappagh away @6.45pm. Fri 26th June: Minor B Hurling Championship.
