Following three tough weekends of competition on the football field the Kildare Senior Ladies now turn their attentions to strutting their stuff on the catwalk, as they host their very own fashion show this weekend, in Leixlip.

The Court Yard Hotel in Leixlip is the venue to be this Saturday night (23rd Feburary) to see stars of past and present, young and old modelling the latest in Kildare fashion.

The ladies themselves have all been enlisted to model, from sports to casual and even a bit of bridal to round things off. Along with the Ladies they have enlisted some fitting male models to accompany them down the Catwalk. Among these, manager Galway native John Divilly and his 1998 rivals Anthony Rainbow, Karl O'Dwyer, Brian Lacey and Ronan Quinn will be appearing in a battle to settle old scores.

Other male models confirmed for the night are Ladies trainer David Hughes and Kildare Senior Hurling Captain Paul Divilly with many more waiting in the wings to flash the model poses at the watching crowds also.

The monies raised from this fashion show will go to fund the exploits of both the Kildare Senior Ladies as well as the Minor girls for the 2013 season, in what they hope to be a fantastic year for both sides. Following a bright start to their league in 2013, the Ladies are looking to continue delivering their high levels of success, but to do this they need you. Tickets for the once-in-a-lifetime event are available from all Kildare County Players and County Board officials, priced at €15, it is sure to be a night filled with fashion, fun and more entertainment than you could hope for. There may even be the odd surprise along the way.

The shops involved on the night include: Next Kidsware, Buy Design, Divine Boutique, Tosca Boutique, Debenhams, Mexx Clothing, Richie Whelan and Bernard Dunne Mensware, Kildare GAA Shop as well as Barnardos Bridial Boutique.
