Our u10 boys had a blitz in the club grounds on Saturday morning. The visiting teams were Suncroft, Monasterevin and Kilcullen. Our boys began with two narrow defeats to both Kilcullen and Suncroft but rounded off what was an enjoyable mornings entertainment with a fine victory over close neighbours Monasterevin. All the players from all four clubs aquitted themselves well throughout the games and no doubt some future Kildare players were on display.
The underage boys in the club have begun the new restructered format of 11 a side non-competitive games and are really starting to come to grips with it. The u10s are out on Tuesdays, u12s on Wednesdays with the u11s out on Saturday afternoons and all teams are competing well in these competitions.
