Roscommon, and Leona O'Donnell Dungloe. Congratulations to our senior team who guaranteed there promotion to Division 1A in O'Donnell Park in Letterkenny on Sunday afternoon against St Michael's. The final score line was Dungloe 1-10 St Michael's 0-10. Brian Bonner getting a first half goal that set Dungloe on their way to victory. Leading by a point at half time and drawing level a number of occasions in the second half, Dungloe showed great steel and determination after losing both Adrian Hanlon and Raymond Sweeney to red cards midway through the second half. Dungloe re-gained their composure and opened up a three-point lead that they never surrendered. Dungloe had a good hard-working team effort and outstanding performances from Colin McCarron, Mark McPol, Brian Bonner, Shaun Sharkey, Mark Clerkin, Martin Ferry, Martin McGlynn and Adrian Sweeney. Lets get out there and support our team again for this final match. Training continues for Reserves and seniors at 7.00pm on the Astro Turf school grounds on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Both senior and reserve players should make every effort now, as both teams will be involved in a league play-off. Players away from home are also asked to make every effort to maintain their fitness and sharpness for the remaining games. The Club would like to remind all the underage management teams to prepare a small report on their team's activities throughout the year and include any team photos of competition winners for the county board yearbook. This needs to be completed before the 20th of November. This can then be forwarded via email to the Club PRO for submission. Re. Club Dhun na nGall: The County Board are anxious that each Senior Club would secure 20 people within the Club Area who would enter into a commitment to contribute a set amount each year to Club Dhun na nGall - €300 for the next three years.
