Slaughtneil (Derry) 0-12

Derrygonnelly (Fermanagh) 0-7

Slaughtneil's remarkable winning run in football and hurling continued at Celtic Park with a five-point Ulster club SFC quarter-final victory over Derrygonnelly Harps.

Paul Bradley notched five points as the Derry kingpins followed up on last Sunday's historic Ulster club SHC title win to set up a semi-final date with Tyrone champions Killyclogher.

Garvan Jones handed Derrygonnelly an early lead, but the Emmet's soon moved into a 0-3 to 0-1 lead thanks to Bradley points either side of a Francis McEldowney effort. The visitors regained the lead through scores from Leigh, Garvan and Ryan Jones, but Slaughtneil replied with two more points from Bradley and another from Patsy Bradley to take a slender 0-6 to 0-5 lead into the break.

Patsy Bradley (Slaughtneil) and Maurice Cassidy (Derrygonnelly) were both issues with black cards on the restart, while the Harps also lost Paul Ward to a second yellow. Garvan Jones' third point left the minimum in it again before the 2014 Ulster champions made the most of their numerical advantage to pull away in the closing stages.
