The draws for the 2016 Cork championships were made at yesterday's county convention.

In a change from recent years when the first round winners qualified directly for the fourth round and the losers played off in the second and third rounds, all teams will now play in the second round.

Senior football champions Nemo Rangers will begin the defence of the Andy Scannell Cup against Duhallow, while hurling champions Glen Rovers will open their campaign against Carbery.
