Seanie Johnston...

Whats the story with Seany Johnston...? Any other reports on a move...Personally I think its embarrassing for a county of our standard to throw away a top scorer like this...The country is once again laughing at us!

no need to be embarrassed as there is no need for not one county is laughing at you over a decision that has been made. Remember this is the second week in January McKenna cup campaign to try out players the seniors if they are fit and committed will be back I am sure.
Why everyone has to keep on about this baffles me.
Cavan will be in division2 next year with or without Seanie Johnston

Why did Val get rid of Seanie in he first place, he was a great player for Cavan, on of the top scorers, and captain last year so why get rid of him ??

Seanie is the best natural talent I've seen since Derek McDonnell. And the best scoring forward since Charlie Gallagher. He's the best Gaels forward since lightning Murray .I wish ppl would lay off Seanie. He's nothing to prove to anybody. He knows where the posts are, unlike a lot of forwards these days. Thankfully he is still a Gaels player. You will be ther Seanie when others are long gone.....AGAIN!!!

Lads Seanies attitude was very questionable , if you talk to any players who have been in any of the panels over the years with him they will tell you the same. savage footballer but the problems is that he knows he is. I think andrews made the decision to drop him for a reason and to be honest only he knows that reason and isnt under any obligation to tell us why. Move on....and to the gaels posters on this forum take a breather and rewind back to the last 2 years- Johnstone was regarded as a distraction by yourselves.

And let me tell you Sean o Rinn . Your opinion on Seanie doesn't count. Neither does Vals. Because he will be here after you both. He's a town man. A proud Gaelsan. Brought up the right way.his uncle Cathal was a fine young underage player. I saw hom playing , many didn't. Seanie was a 2 footed classy footballer. Ahead of his time . You will be back Seanie when the blow ins are long gone!!!!

Look Cavan is made up of blow ins as you call me.
I never questioned Seannies ability as a gifted it is not up for question at all in fact I have not made any comments good or bad about him so come down from your high horse and take a deep breath for there are no Cavan people on here saying he cannot play. Life moves on we in Cork still talk about the likes of Christy Ring and so on but they are gone. I expect Seannie your bosom pal will be back with the seniors when he is ready. He is training hard from what they say so thats good news. I hope M Lyng and Dermot Sheridan are as well along with any others who have been as you say removed from the panel. From what I hear none have.???

I think it's hugely unfair for people to have a go at Seanie he's a good lad and may well be back in the team, I'd love to see him back

if you have a touch screen mobile and you know my number I will send you a full picture of the report if you are happy to do that. I was very surprised and disappointed to read that one of our very best wanted to leave the Breffni County. Surprised Cavan Gales supporters on here did not mention it . I wonder why. ??

Sean hasn't been mentioned because it's not true. The Kildare Co Board know nothing about it. Seanie been in Australia over Xmas and new year. He doesn't want to leave the Gaels so it's impossible to transfer without changing club. Anyway all this speculation could have easly been avoided if Seanie was treated the same as other players that had a bad year last year. They still in the panel. Also Seanie hasn't been replaced by anyone better not what I saw this past 2 games .
To back down
