Not many games played this weekend due to weather. I believe Corlough beat Cornafean by three points, the local derby was a draw between Shannon Gaels & swanlinbar & Kildallen beat Mountnugent. This leaves Kildallen and Corlough with 3 out of 3. Has anyone any of the other results if any other games were played??

Swad will feel they let this one slip through their fingers they were leading by 9 points at one stage, they probably dominated the first half and 5 mins of the second but then the Gaels took over. Was some nice play from both sides. Shannon Gaels showed great heart to come back. Prob got a slippy goal the full back & gaolie getting their wires crossed. Young Cunningham was a class act. This is not the last we will see from either of these teams, and it was good to see Eamon Reilly back

Okay maybe I could be starting vicious rumours here but I was at the game & I was so sure it was him, infact it was as he was taking the frees off the ground, unless he has a brother who is very like him. Is the Glan Man not joined up to the new forum??? Was anyone at the Corlough V Cornafean or Kildallen V Mountnugent game??

Attended the corlough v cornafean at the weekend.great first half performance by corlough.cornafean wasted a lot of position in second half and could have gone ahead in the first ten minutes. I'd say that corlough will be hard to beat at home. I think that they have new management this year and they appear much more confident. I even heard a comment after the game that this was the first time that they ever won three consecutive games!

I'm not sure but I think that Reilly fellow played with Fulham Irish on Saturday evening in Ruislip. He's been playing with London in the NFL.

Yes that was Eamon Rielly. He transfered to Fulham Irish but never played a game for them, he only played for the London senior team, so he was allowed transfer straight back without having to wait the 80 days.

Think Rielly and John Cunningham cancelled each other out, as did Daniel O Hara and Michael Cunningham. Mark Cunningham and Alan Fee did all the scoring for their respective teams, Cunningham is definately 1 for the future. Other than that Enda Mc Hugh did ok, and there was a great thustle between the gaels no. 7 and Swads no. 10, with the gaels lad just about shading it.

Swad will probably feel they were robbed but it could have been worse as Rielly put a free from the 45 narrowly wide with the last kick of the game which would have handed it 2 the gaels.

not that it makes much difference but the final score in kildallan was mountnugent 1-7 killdallen 1-9,
Good come back from mountnugent as they were losing 1-08 to 0-04 after about 20 mins in the second half it having being 4 points each at half time.

mountnugent beat swad by 12 points 2-12 to 0-6 mountnugent are coming good as a neutral at the game i thought mountnugent were class played some good football and wer wining by 4 i think at half time against a strong breeze and game out nd put the game beyond doubt with about 15 mins left they have sum good footballers mountnugent there full forward i think is name is gibney got 2-4
