Cavan Minor Team was an experimental one today. Armagh were the better team, they didn't resort to holding up the ball in the back line, messing like Cavan did, also they won mid-field, ball into Cavan forwards was terrible.Graham has a good backbone in this side, they just need to settle down and play as more direct game, like the U-21's did. I wouldn't be too negative, the difference was a goal, and Gilsenan is usually more reliable. There were 8 of last years All Ireland Minor Champions on that Armagh team too.

Yes, armagh would be very strong. Wasnt at the game now. But lets stay positive. As long as they get it right against fermanagh in the champ, il be happy. Who do they have next in the league?

Score; 1-11 to 0-3. Cavan on top throughout, conditions were atrocious underfoot. Brady lad from Kill got a straight red for a punching incident in the second half. F Flanagan, J Brady and J Mc Loughlin were the pick of the bunch.

Good Luck to Mickey Graham, Peter Donnelly, John and the Minor Team in their game against Monaghan. A win in this puts them in the Ulster Minor League Final. A well deserved achievement for a hard working squad, Management and mentoring team.
