virginia won an all irl title. well done. however it was very much div. 3 in terms of schools football. colleges a and even b are amuch higher standard. where are st. pats? no where. where are cavan? no where! any decent colleges side would beat the cavan voc. schools county team never mind virginia tech! diver (Cavan) - Posts: 39 - 12/03/2010 19:19:51 586809 Link 0 |

cavan forever the point is cavan schools are winning at div 3 level but are nowhere when it comes to div 1 which is hogan cup football. this then carries on to county football. understand? diver (Cavan) - Posts: 39 - 12/03/2010 19:44:21 586822 Link 0 |

What a mean spirtied way to get your point accross, trying to diminish the success of Virginia. The power of Positive thinking isn't something that's visited your world I'd guess. ochonlir (Cavan) - Posts: 4343 - 13/03/2010 21:39:24 587402 Link 0 |

ochonlir i was not tryin to diminish virginia. just tryin to point out that the top counties compete at hogan cup level eg. kerry tyrone. st pats have been a disaster in recent times. virginia did very well winning the competition they were in. diver (Cavan) - Posts: 39 - 14/03/2010 18:23:03 587751 Link 0 |

Oh you weren't trying to diminish Virginia's success calling it division 3? the achievement should be celebrated it's the highest honour that people attending VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS can achieve. That you deign it div 3 is mean spirited, if you had your way we would catagorise all competitions and where would that leave the hogan cup ie in relation to the hastings cup the minor championship the senior league etc they are all inpependant of each other and have their own right to exist and are due some respect. funny that TYrone and Kerry are the top Counties when it comes to winning Voc Schools titles either individulal schools or at County level ochonlir (Cavan) - Posts: 4343 - 14/03/2010 18:45:06 587780 Link 0 |
