Probably so more junior players get a game rather than managers filling junior side with half the senior team and leaving lads not getting a game at all.

why?to prevent the junior league being a farce again this year.clubs fill there junior team with senior players, but they wont do that now because they wont want to risk injuring any of the seniors.

At last the county board have seen sense. It will benefit all the junior players who have been training since early jan only to be on the bench for the reserve game which is loaded with senior players, this was happening last few years. Also cut out some of the nonsense of seniors playing on a sat and juniors on a sunday (or the other way around), the travel and time wasted for players/mentors/supporters.
Will be interesting to see how some of the top 4 teams in reserve leagues last year do this year when they cant 'load' their team with seniors

couldn't agree with the previous poster

from a financial and hassle point of view having one venue to travel to suits everybody and keeps the camaraderie between the two squads. Junior bs will have a decent crowd for a change and that a good thing
