declan rowley,-team manager,
paul mccorry,-fitness coach,
tom reilly ( shannon gaels),junior mckiernan (killeshandra)and ciaran brady(gowna) ,-selectors
the guys i have proposed would know players in each division as well as being from different areas of the county,not from mullagh,killinkere and knockbride-----------------------------------.I travelled to aughrim, got soaked,embarrassed,depressed and swine flu, all inside 70 mins.Aside from gunner ,sheridan and larry ,what a bunch of premadonnas,heartless,leaderless, GO NOW LADS ,CAVAN PEOPLE DESERVE BETTER,FOR THE LOVE OF GOD,GO!!!!!!

If malachy o rourke wasnt with fermanagh he'd have the job in a second!! Even Leo Mc Bride would be fantastic.. Brilliant for showing players how to suceed while enjoying the game too.. just what we need!!

I think Declan Rowley would be a proper coach and would build a solid foundation like he did with leitrim and longford.He seems to have Lacken playing good football and has done well in cavan club scene over the years.

Paul McCorry fitness trainer no question about that but the others sorry I would not agree with you.
If you are going to pick a Gowna man Pick a quality man and he is Dessie Brady not his brother, Junior McKirnan I know has worked hard for K/Shandra------, I hope to god no one mentions Stephen King for if his tipping is as good as his management he is best to stay with the Cavan echo, we need a no nonsence man who will be the boss not a yes man plain and simple. Yes men are no good to anyone so lets get a quality strong manager if you are going to change from Carr and keep him local;

Bring martin mchugh back for a few seasons and see what happens,no point bringing somone in from within the county..these sort pf people do not have the experience that we need.

Martin McHugh left after the 1997 year because he iknew he was going to get nothing else from what he had, plain and simple but true, he would never come back to Cavan as a manager for he is earning too much from his past and does he want to spoil that I would say not.???

I see that the grey crows are circiling, above Tommy Carrs head, I do not have much sympathy for him or his supporters as he was quick to jump into bed with them fellows that were so critical of the previous manager.
I said at the time of Carrs appointment that he would go up past whitegate once things went wrong, and I feel that he is only delaying his departure to prove me wrong.
