Seniors
Our seniors opened their Intermediate Championship campaign with a comprehensive 8-11 to 0-9 win over Kill in Kingspan Breffni Park on Friday night last. The opening exchanges of the match were close, with two points from Enda Henry and one from Donal McDonald, leaving it 0-3 each after 10 minutes. Brendan Fitzpatrick moved us into the lead, for the first time in the 20th minute and the lads finished the half strongly, with goals from Enda Henry, Niall Lawlor from a penalty and a Barry O'Reilly goal giving us a 3-6 to 0-4 half time lead.
Two goals in the first four minutes of the second half, with the identity of the first goalscorer shared between Donal McDonald and Eoin McGuigan, and one from Stuart Dunne knocked the stuffing out of Kill. Niall Lawlor added two goals in the second half to complete a fantastic hat-trick and Stuart Dunne added a second goal to his tally late on to round off a convincing win. Well done to the lads and the management team of Jason, JJ and Vinnie. We are now through to a Quarter Final with the draw being made in a number of weeks after the back door qualifier matches are played.

Congratulations to our U16's and the management team of Kieran McCaffrey, Patsy Teevan and Sean Lawlor who have qualified for the Division 2 U16 Championship semi final courtesy of their 2-11 to 2-4 Play-off win over Mullahoran in Rory O'Moore Park on Sunday evening last. Our U16's are now through to the U16 Division 2 Championship Semi Final which is due to take place on Tuesday next August 12th.

Best of luck to the Cavan Junior team and management in their All Ireland Junior Championship Semi Final clash with Scotland in Edinburgh this Saturday August 9th at 6.30 p.m.
