Mouth guards/ Gum Shields - Compulsory from January 1st 2013

A welcome new rule from Croke Park is that from January 1st 2013, all players up to and including Minors will be required to wear a Gum shield while playing all GAA Sports. No player will be allowed to participate without one. In the coming weeks, the club will be compiling the necessary information on this for all Parents and Juvenile Players and forwarding it on at the earliest possible date. This rule will be enforced by all Referees as well as mentors over teams and we can't stress enough how important it will for all players to have a Shield. From January 1st 2014, this rule will come in for U21 and Adult Teams also. If you have any immediate queries on this, please phone Angela on 087 7648109 or email [email protected]
