The Fighting Cocks GAA club have launched a book on their history.

The book details the history of the club from its inception in 1928, right up to last year when they won the intermediate title for the first time in their history.

The Fighting Cocks became known throughout the country when they objected to a new format introduced for this year's Carlow SFC which would have denied them their place in the senior ranks.

However, the club was successful in their appeal and they went on to live their dream by playing in the senior football championship this year. Tweet
