All Ireland Intermediate Championship

All roads lead to the Gaelic Grounds Limerick on Saturday August 25th to cheer on our County Intermediate Camogie Team as they play Galway's Intermediate Camogie team in the All Ireland Intermediate Camogie semi-final. The Deise ladies are set to create more history for Waterford camogie this year having won the All Ireland Junior title last year are competing this year for a place in the Intermediate final this year. The Waterford girls will have it all to play for in the semi-final this year against Galway as the Galwegian girls topped their group and are already intermediate competitors while its the Waterford girl's first time competing at this level. But the experience of the girls on winning the junior final last year should give team manager Mark Cooney , his fellow selectors and back room staff some great confidence on the girls achieving the penultimate again this year. Throw in for this game is Saturday August 25th @ 2pm in the Gaelic Grounds Limerick.

U14 Development Squad

Training for the U14 development squad still carries on despite the inclement weather conditions over the summer months. The girls played Wexford two weeks ago in St. Martins pitch near Wexford town in which they acquitted themselves well on the day and were down to play a Limerick selection in Golden Co. Tipperary on Wednesday last but was unfortunately cancelled due to the weather. All this experience and hard training will help the girls for the Munster blitz which is due to take place in Thurles on this Saturday. August 22nd
