Located on the Copper Coast of Waterford, St Anne's Ladies Football & Camogie Club was founded in the year 2000 as a result of the Kill, Bonmahon and Dunhill/Fenor Clubs merging. Over the years the club has grown from strength to strength, now comprising of 148 members. We field teams in all underage Football and Camogie categories and at Intermediate Ladies Football and Senior Camogie levels. We have won underage championships in both Football and Camogie and Senior Camogie titles in both the League and Championship.
In our inaugural year we won our first Senior Camogie title and went on to win the Championship again in 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005. We were also successful in 2007 and completed a season to remember in 2009, when we won the County Championship and qualified for our first All-Ireland Junior Club Championship Final.
In 2011, sixteen St Anne's players represented their County at various levels from underage to Senior and several members of the club were part of the victorious Waterford Camogie team who won their first All-Ireland Junior Camogie Final.
As a sporting club we strive to be successful on the playing field and endeavour to nurture and develop the talents of all our players while ensuring that the girls' enjoyment of the game and love of the sport is central to our ethos.

U 16 B All Ireland championship 2012
The County's U 16 Camogie Team will play their first round of the U16 B All Irealnd Championship for 2012 on sunday next July 8th. Their opponents in this game are 2012 Munster Champions Cork. This game is to be a home venue for Cork, but time and venue not known at the time of going to press. Tune into WLR FM during the week for updates on this.

All-Ireland Minor B Camogie Final 2003
Waterford 6-11, Armagh 1-4
A DAM burst of emotion was released at 2.45pm last Sunday in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise when referee Noeleen Ni Chuirmeacháin blew the final whistle. A National Intercounty Camogie title was making its way back to Waterford for the first time ever, in the shape of the All Ireland Minor B crown.
There to enjoy it were past players, including members of the 1959 Munster Championship winning team. Current players willing their teamates to victory. Club mentors from around the county enjoying the fruition of their dedication. Family and friends of the players, who turned up in style and colour to cheer every score, appreciate every block and encourage every ounce of effort in the search for victory.
The winning margin reflected the dominance right around the field as in every sector the one to one battles went Waterford's way. They led from start to finish, the only time of real concern was when Armagh goaled in the 15th minute, but this was cancelled out within 30 seconds when Player of the Match Áine Lyng struck for the first of her four goals.
TENSE START
As one would expect in a game of this importance we had a very tense opening 10 minutes. Frantic end to end Camogie with no obvious pattern. The Orchard County's forwards unsettling the Waterford back division with their movement out of position.
The robust tackling of their backs letting the Deise forwards know that they would have to work hard for their scores. Consequent to this Waterford had only one score in the first ten minutes a pointed long range free from Emma Hannon.
HEYLIN SETTLES THE NERVES
On the 10th minute Roisin Heylin pointed after a trademark solo run. The midfield exchanges were now going Waterford's way as Jenny Simpson and Charlotte Raher started to win the tackles and move the sliothar on at pace. In defence the intense action was also going Waterford's way, in particular on the 40 where Roisin Delahunty, Tanya Morrissey and Laura Buckley were rising to the occasion. Centre Forward Hannon and then Louise O'Dowda struck for further points as the Armagh defence was opened up with slick hand passing and fast movement.
However Waterford were rocked back on their heels at the midpoint of the half when Colette McSorley raised the first green flag of the day, for Armagh. This would prove to be another character test for the eventual winners.
As in the Munster Final win over Clare when two late goals were conceded to move the match into extra time the response was emphatic. Goalkeeper Aisling O'Brien's puck out found Emma Hannon who placed Áine Lyng, she rounded the full back and gave net minder Sunniamha Quinn no chance with a rasping shot. Lyng and McSorley then shared four points to leave the score on the 25th minute at 1-6 to 1-2.
DECISIVE MOMENT
The game now moved into what turned out to be the decisive period. The pace of the game stepped up, hurleys were broken and questions were being asked all around the field. The self belief hardened by excellent preparation stood to the girls from the South East. They were not willing to go home empty handed today. In this five minute period full forward Lyng put her mark on the occasion. She pounced for two goals, the second a rasping ground shot illustrating one of the most potent skills of Camogie.
The performance of the full back line of Patricia Broderick, Orla and Margot Heffernan should not be underestimated in this first thirty minutes. They and goalkeeper Aisling O'Brien responded magnificently to the pressure and repeatedly frustrated the Armagh inside line. Half Time score Waterford 3-6 Armagh 1-2.
Armagh came out for the second half with a renewed determination but the skill of the Waterford girls was exhibited once again when corner forward Louise O'Dowda took a pass on her camán, flicked the sliothar into the air and drove it nonchalantly between the posts.
On the 33rd minute ace predator Lyng struck for another point, followed three minutes later by her fourth goal. Armagh had the next two scores, points from Aoibheann and Michelle Murphy. At this stage Munster final hero Áine Breathnach was introduced for Kate Heneghan who had worked tirelessly in the corner.
The youngest member of the panel Patricia Jackman replaced O'Dowda in the other corner as tiring legs were refreshed. Waterford were now rampant and the mixture of skill and determination was proving to be an unstoppable force.
Further points from Heylin, Hannon and Lyng widened the gap. In games like this it is easy to note the forwards performance. But the spectators also appreciated the efforts of the Waterford back division. Those who started and replacements Clare Hartery and Alice Moore never relented. A cameo that captured this was upon her introduction Clare Hartery was thrust straight in action. Twice blocking and then clearing her lines as Armagh's Dara Collins tried to make progress.
One of the unsung heroes of the team, Susan Finn left the field to rapturous applause from supporters who appreciated her sterling work on the 40. Her replacement Ciara Keogh maintained the momentum.
Roisin Heylin and the tireless Jenny Simpson scored the final two goals for Waterford in the closing stages confirming Corn Aoife's first trip to Waterford.

All Ireland Intermediate Championship
The Waterford County Camogie team will take on Antrim in the second round of the Intermediate Championship on Saturday next July 7th in ashbpurne Co. Meath at 5.30pm. A win in this will almost secure them a place in the All Ireland semi-final.

The first round of the County Intermediate Championship was played during the past week where An Rinn overcame Brickey Rangers on a score line of An Rinn 4 -15 Brickey Rangers 0 - 01 the Tallow V Mount Sion game has been postponed to a later date

Féile Na nGael 2012
The 2012 Féile na nGael finals will take place from Thursday next July 5th to Sunday 8th in Dublin. This years representatives for Waterford is De La Salle Camogie Club. De La Salles host club is Cuala Camogie club which they will be playing at 2 0'clock on Thursday. Waterfords representative in the Féile Skills competition is Gall Tirs Ciara Jackman. Waterrford Camogie Board would like to wish both the De La Salle Camogie Team and their mentors and Ciara Jackman the best of luck in the Féile. Tweet
