Senior Championship
Well done to our seniors who defeated Mullahoran in the championship quarter-final in Bréifne Park on Friday evening last. Fortunes swayed back and forward for a while but in the end we had a three point victory. We now play Castlerahan again this time in the semi-final on Sunday next at 7pm. Best of luck to players and management.

Cavan Gaels Club Day

Cavan Gaels are holding their annual club day in Terry Coyle Park on Saturday next September 28 starting at 11am. Girls and boys will play in a series of games for various trophies. Among the games will be the John Fee tournament which has been running since 2005. As usual there will be a cake sale and parents are asked to bring some items for it. Other activities for the young will take place including face painting. This day will also provide an opportunity to buy some club merchandise. Parents and their children and all other club members are asked to be in Terry Coyle Park on Saturday next from 11am to join in the fun.

Under-14 Girls

Hard luck to our under-14 girls who were defeated by three points by Belturbet in the final on Saturday last on the 3G pitch at Bréifne Park. They battled well against a more experienced side and showed enough resolve and skill to suggest that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the years ahead. Well done to players and management for all their work.
