The late Niall Dolan pictured in Breffni Park as the 1985 Anglo Celt Cup winners Ramor Utd squad were honoured before the 2011 Cavan SFC final.
Niall of course put his family first and built up a highly successful solicitors practise. But after that he was a GAA man through and through.
For years he was a regular face in the colours of his beloved Ramor and indeed played well into his forties.
Off the field Niall Dolan was a brilliant administrator and acted for Ramor in many capacities. He also served on the Cavan County Board and with various committees connected to Croke Park.
Niall had been in ill health for sometime but he fought this illness with typical determination and bravery.
We offer our sincere condolences to his wife Anne and family.
Niall's body will be removed from his house this evening Tuesday at 6.30pm, arriving at Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia for 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow Wednesday at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
