Éire Óg CLG are delighted to welcome Carlow & District Credit Union as sponsors of our annual Leinster Minor Club Tournament for 2015.
Carlow District Credit Union Ltd., have been supporting local clubs and groups in the Carlow town area for over 50yrs. They provide financial services to their members ie. loans, savings/shares, foreign exchange, bill-pay, insurance cover on shares/loans, death benefit insurance, online services and much more. People in Carlow have achieved a better way of life by being members of Carlow District Credit Union Ltd. Members have control over their finances by making their own savings work for them. Regular savings from a common pool of money provides many benefits for members and also helps the local community. Part of the Credit Union ethos is to encourage human and social development and in this regard Carlow District Credit Union Ltd., are delighted to be associated with the sponsorship of the Eire Og Leinster Minor Club Tournament.
This prestigious tournament commences once again Saturday October 31st with Wicklow champions Arklow Geraldines / Ballymoney taking on their Offaly counterparts and current holders Ferbane / Belmont who will be looking to create history by becoming the first team to retain the trophy.
Since its inaugural Final in 2003 clubs from no fewer than six counties have won the Ger Hosey Cup. Previous winners are 2003: Kilmacud Crokes, Dublin. 2004: St. Josephs, Wicklow: 2005: Heath, Laois. 2006: Cuala, Dublin. 2007: St Brigids, Dublin. 2008: Donaghmore/Ashbourne, Meath. 2009: Na Fianna, Dublin. 2010: Athy, Kildare. 2011: Celbridge, Kildare. 2012: Round Towers, Kildare. 2013: Shamrocks, Offaly. 2014 Ferbane/Belmont, Offaly.
