Club Profile;
Lismore Camogie Club
The Current Lismore Camogie Club was founded in 1974, and initially fielded three teams -u16, -u18 and Junior. The club has gone from strength to strength and now fields teams in all grades from U10 to U18, Junior and Senior. Lismore has enjoyed plenty of success over the years, winning numerous county finals in all grades. They are currently Senior County League and championship County Champions, and also have representatives on County U14, U16, U18 and Junior panels. Lismore represented Waterford Feile na nGael for eleven years in a row, winning the '06 Division 3 title in Cork and Division 4 in Offaly in 1989.
Lismore Camogie Club fielded their first senior team in 1980 but did not win their first senior County title until 1985 followed by a series of County titles in the following years. In 2010, Lismore Camogie club won the County senior title for the first time in nine years and also created history in winning their first and Munsters first ever Munster Intermediate Club title when they beat Newmarket on Fergus in Buttevant on October 30th 2010, and went on to represent the County in the All Ireland series but were unfortunate to be beaten in the semi-final stage by Eoghan Rua of Derry. They once again represented Waterford in the 2011 Club Championship and overcame Tipperary's Clonulty in Bansha and were subsequently beaten in the All Ireland semi-final against Galways Ardrahan.

This particular team is flanked with an array of camogie talent on display with many of the girls contesting All Ireland finals and indeed winning some. A number have represented Waterford with their club capturing All Ireland Feile titles while others were on the only Waterford team to win an All Ireland title at u16B in 2003 a few have also won All Ireland titles in the Senior colleges with Blackwater Community School Lismore. More played for the Ashbourne cup for their third level colleges.

All Ireland U16B Championship

Waterford 2-8 Cork 3-11

The County U 16 squad played their first round of the All Ireland U16B Championship on Saturday last July 7th in Corks camogie grounds in Mahon. The girls had already met this talented Cork team in the Munster final earlier in the year where the Waterford girls were unfortunate to come home with the silverware on the day. A great display of camogie prevailed on Saturday last with both teams giving it their all, but it was Cork who came out on top on a score line of Cork 3-11 Waterford 2-8. The girls now go on to play in the next round on Saturday next at a half way venue where they will take on Antrim. A win in this game is a must in order for the girls to remain in the championship.

They met with last years Div 2 champions St. Cillians of Offaly in which they beat on a score line of
De La Salle 1-7 V St Cillians 2-3 They went on to play in the final in which they met with a very strong Clare team Inagh/Kilnamona the final score in this game was
Inagh/Kilnamona 5-5
De La Salle 2-3
Gall Tirs Ciara Jackman was Waterford's representative in the Féile Skills competition Ciara came in a credible 8th position, which was a great achievement in conditions which were very poor weather wise for such a skillful competition.
