Replacing skirts with shorts isn't one of the changes set to take place at Camogie Congress.
Congress takes place this weekend and allowing players to wear shorts instead of skirts was one of the changes mooted but that proposal has been dropped as 60% of members voted against it in an internal review.
One of the more-interesting changes set to be implemented is awarding two points for a sideline cut. "It is a jaw-dropping skill that stops people in their tracks and is unique to our games," outgoing president Joan O'Flynn reasons.
It is also proposed to increase the amount of usable subs from five to eight - an arrangement that would only apply in the league.
