Mickey Ned hopes lessons have been learned
July 18, 2008
Limerick football boss Mickey Ned O'Sullivan is hopeful that his charges have learned from their heartbreaking defeat to Cork.
Limerick had their pockets picked by the would-be Munster champions in injury time and the boss believes his players have the character to use the setback positively when they entertain Meath on Saturday:
"You learn from every game you play, and we hope to learn from the Cork game. I would like to think that our players took the positives from that match.
"Saturday is our last chance to advance in the championship. There is pressure on both sides. There is no second bite at the cherry from here on."
