Fixtures freeze in Fermanagh
July 04, 2008
All domestic action in Fermanagh has been deferred as the Erne County prepare for the Ulster final and the game that follows.
This could cause a massive fixtures backlog in the county but few people will complain as Malachy O'Rourke's team find themselves on the brink of history.
Round Six of the football leagues was played last weekend but all club action has now been placed on the backburner for up to seven weeks.
With club competitions in limbo, football followers in the county can focus fully on the exploits of the county SF team, who face Armagh at Clones on July 20 and could have an All-Ireland quarter-final to follow.
