Mens Football
The senior team traveled to the Lough shore last Saturday afternoon to take on Moortown. A tight contest resulted in the two teams sharing the points on a score line of 0-12 to 1-09. With the County Senior and Intermediate Championships being held this weekend, the men have no fixture.
Congratulations to the U16 boys and their management on winning the Aiden O'Kane Memorial Shield at the Craic in the Brack last Saturday. The boys played through the extremely wet conditions and beat some tough competition to be crowned victors. The boys got off to a great start in their league when they beat Trillick 4-10 to 0-10. Their second game was on Tuesday away to Greencastle, result next week.
Ladies Football
The senior ladies traveled to Pomeroy last Thursday only to be told the match wasn't taking place, a wasted journey to say the least. The girls have a small break now but training continues on Monday, Thursday and Saturday morning.
Training for the U16 girls continues on Wednesday nights, everyone at this age group are reminded they must attend all sessions.
