O'Rourke anxious to avoid hype

Fermanagh manager Malachy O'Rourke
Fermanagh manager Malachy O'Rourke has spoken of the dangers of his team buying into the hype which will undoubtedly surround their preparations for next month's Ulster SFC final.
The Ernemen will face either Down or Armagh on July 20 in what will be their first provincial decider since 1982 following Saturday's superb semi-final win over National League champions Derry.
"We'd like to think that we'll not get over-excited or over-hyped because at the end of the day, if you go to an Ulster final and you don't perform, people soon forget about you, and it puts a dampener on the whole season," he said.
"It's very important for us to put our feet back down on the ground and realise that this has just been a stepping stone into an Ulster final."
O'Rourke feels the supporters are entitled to get excited as they look towards the prospect of a first ever Ulster title.
"It is an historic day, and it's great for us and great for the whole county, but it's very important for us that we get our feet down on the ground straight away and start preparing for our next challenge."
