Henry puts injury behind him

June 20, 2008
Henry Shefflin is delighted to have finally put his injury nightmare behind him. The Kilkenny talisman played the full match against Offaly last weekend and has spoken of his relief that everything worked out and the knee problem can now be consigned to history: "If the game had been a month earlier, I wouldn't have been twisting and turning as much as I was. The knee was getting better as every week passed. "It's fine now and I'm just glad to have both my first full club and county matches over. Now I can concentrate on hurling and forget about the knee. "The injury is in the past - it's all forgotten about now."
