Dooley under no illusions

Offaly hurling manager Joe Dooley has admitted that his team realise that they will have to perform to the very best of their ability if they are to challenge Kilkenny this weekend. Offaly earned a place in the semi final following a convincing win over Laois, but a different task faces them at Portlaoise on Sunday when they face the All-Ireland champions. Dooley believes that his charges have put in as much work as humanly possible and that they are prepared for the challenge that lies ahead, with the former All-Ireland winner confident of an upset. "We have trained hard and prepared as well as we can. Kilkenny are All-Ireland champions for the last two years and have won four of the last six All-Irelands. They are the team that everyone has to try and match. We will not be fearing them and will give it our best shot," said the Offaly manager.
